I’m Martha Jane, I live in Austin, Texas with my husband Walt and our two dogs, Sadie and Nigel. I keep this blog to record and share my hobbies which include all manor of homemaking activities from landscaping to knitting to dog training as well as travel and photography. I welcome critiques on my projects and I’m happy to share details or instructions about what I have done.
I have a bachelors in interior design from the University of Texas and a masters in textiles and clothing from Iowa State University. My masters thesis analyzed a few original clothing designs of Bonnie Cashin. I am currently a secretary at the University of Texas.

I am putting together a plant library for our website of plants we like to use. Wondering if it would be OK to use your variegated St Augustine photo & give you credit–my boss has some in a planter but it looks a little pathetic right now to photograph.
